Monday inspiration...............

I needed to take a break from all the Christmas decorating that I have to do for work so here is what inspired me today - not a Christmas tree, wreath or snowflake to be seen......

The Pack is back........................

The last time the backpack was a big trend was about 20 years ago - Prada's nylon version was my favourite.  I still have it, but it is looking a little "worse for wear."  

This time around, I like Mulberry's version, designed by Cara Delevingne (second picture) and of course, who could go past the classic Louis Vuitton.  The 'new' backpack trend is being worn by both men and women, comes in all shapes, sizes, textures and embellishments and is being seen on the street, runways and red carpets.

Thanksgiving.................

Today is Thanksgiving here in Sydney and even though Australians don't celebrate our American holiday, I do.  Unfortunately, I'm not able to have a 'traditional' Thanksgiving with family, turkey and all the trimmings, so I have created a new tradition, as Thanksgiving is my favourite holiday.  My husband and I have a lovely lunch overlooking one of the most beautiful parks in Sydney (first picture below) and it makes me very happy.
