Jade Jagger in Goa, India................

Having homes on three continents, it is Jade Jagger's (daughter to Mick and Bianca Jagger) home in Goa where she winters from November to March. The bohemian, chic and stylish four bedroom house, with beautiful tile floors is where Jade considers her creative home and muse for her jewelry and fashion lines. Jade decorates the home with local Indian design and the house blends beautifully with its exotic surrounds. No wonder she spends as much time there as possible!

A Milan Atelier....................

No this isn't some fabulous warehouse home conversion - although I could happily live here amongst all the exposed beams and bricks - but the atelier of Milan jewelry designer Melania Crocco. Housed in a Milanese type of public housing and built in the 1900's, it was rough-brick studio with lots of character. However to give it an identity, Melania sourced and filled it with showcases found in Spain, Belgian flooring, lighting from the Netherlands and furniture by Italian artisans to tie it together. The shape and materials used all come from the natural world and the neutral colours are quieting which allows Melania to focus and find inspiration for her jewelry designs

Donna celebrates 30................

Happy anniversary Donna!

Donna Karan celebrated her company's 30th anniversary during New York Fashion Week. Her latest collection featured sheer, sexy, backless evening looks and her sheers for daytime were paired with masculine jackets, which captured perfectly the male/female aesthetic. Donna said, "It's all about the body." "It's all about the movement of the body and the expression of the woman and how she is so core in her strength."

New York fashion week is over but London fashion week is in high gear. Here are some of my favourite looks from the A/W 2014 collections. I love the big knits, flat shoes and the mix of masculine/feminine pieces - which is my favourite way to dress.

Time to shine...............

Metallics have been seen all over the Spring/Summer 2014 runways - and it is not just for evening wear - shine is for day too. Metallic is so popular, it is now the number one trend for interiors as well. I think this is a good rule for wearing and decorating with metallic: "Keep the palette simple and contrast with plenty of texture," says Elle Decoration UK.
