Coach............

I was very happy to see that there is life at Coach after Reed Krakoff's departure last year - and it looks very exciting.   Stuart Vevers is the new Creative Director and has previously worked for top luxury brands Loewe, Mulberry and Louis Vuitton.

Not only has Stuart designed new bags and accessories, but he has also debuted a ready-to-wear collection for A/W 14-15.  He said he took his inspiration from the streets of New York, where in 1941 the Coach brand was launched.  Stuart said the new line is referencing what people are wearing today - "authentic American workwear or sportswear but done with luxe fabric."  He also noticed, while walking to work daily, that no one in NYC was wearing heels.  "Every single girl either had on boots or sneakers."  Therefore, the shoe collection is built around a "commuter friendly wedge boot."

My personal standout favourites are the black wedge boots, the large black tote bag, the large black short handle bag and the short leather shearling jacket.
