Year of the Horse..........

The Chinese New Year of the Horse, will officially be rung in at 12:01am on 31 January 2014 and it will last until 3 February 2015.  The Horse symbolizes nobility, class, speed and perserverance.

The Horse year is a time of fast victories and success, unexpected adventure and surprising romance.  It is an excellent year for travel.  It is a high energy year where production is rewarded, but decisive action is required for victory and there is no time for procrastination as events move quickly, according to Susan Levitt at susanlevitt.com

And while not all signs are "lucky" during the year of the Horse, these can be reversed or enhanced through the use of charms.  Some of them include treasure buckets for wealth, a jade dragonhead fish for career, a jade master protection pendant for safety, longevity coins for health and a Mandarin duck for romance and relationships - according to a Hong Kong-based feng shui expert Joseph Chau Kam Shing as reported for ABS-CBN News Manila.

For overall luck, one may try the benefactor jade.

新年好 (Happy New Year)

Cheers,

Deb xx
