Celebrate...............

I believe every birthday is important and should be celebrated - not just the "big ones."  I especially like the line in this quote that says that birthdays ".... inspire laughter and shenanigans."  I'm wishing my dear friend (and number one fan) a very happy birthday this weekend.  I hope you have lots of laughter and shenanigans and I wish I was there to celebrate with you.

The Burberry cape................

First seen on Cara Delevingne at Burberry's A/W 2104 collections, now the accessory du jour for fashionistas and celebrities alike - the monogrammed Burberry cape.  The wool and cashmere cape has been seen on Olivia Palermo, Suki Waterhouse, Kate Moss and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.  The "blankets" are a key trend as the cooler weather begins.

Heaven, must be missing an angel...............

Australian celebrity and beauty photographer, Russell James got the job of a lifetime - photographing Victoria Secret models in the nude.  His beautifully shot, black and white book, "Angels" has just been released.   Amongst the supermodels he used for this book, is a picture of emerging model, Kendall Jenner - looks like she fit right in.

Enjoy!

Monday Inspiration

One of the benefits from working with flowers is that I am able to enjoy them in my home on a weekly basis.  I know most people today tend to think of them as a luxury, but for me, flowers are most definitely a necessity - always have been.

If you are purchasing flowers, buy two or more bunches of the same flower in the same colour.  That way, they will have much more visual impact.  Until then, you can enjoy mine.

Sarah Harris....................

Sarah Harris is the Fashion Features Director for Vogue UK.  This picture was taken of her during the S/S 2015 shows in NYC.   I thought she looked understated, elegant and sophisticated in her Celine pants, tank top and heels.  The gray hair is absolutely fabulous too - apparently she started going gray at 18 and never had it coloured.

I also had a look inside her wardrobe, courtesy of Inside the Fashion Editors Wardrobe, and now I think I have a girl crush!  I love her simple outfits (if you can call Celine simple), with one outstanding or focal piece such as a Chanel handbag, a Hermes belt, Louboutin shoes or a Louis Vuitton notebook - yes definitely a crush...........

Michael Kors...........

Classic American sportswear and Michael Kors is delivering the best of it, season after season.  These are my favourite pieces from his collection.  I love the gingham prints (gingham is big for S/S 2015), the flared skirt with white shirt, the white on white, the denim car coat and the shoes - both for women and men.

To see the entire collection, go to www.style.com.  Enjoy!
