Dries, please..............
The
Dries Van Noten exhibit
"Inspirations" currently on view at the
Les Arts Decoratifs in Paris pays homage to the Belgian fashion designer. This exhibit not only showcases some of Dries' fashion collections but gives context to his creative processes and inspirations - which range from movies, art and most obviously nature, especially flowers.
The New York Times has said that Dries is
"one of fashion's most cerebral designers."
I couldn't jet into Paris for the collection, so I had to console myself with the book from the exhibit (which is seriously beautiful AND inspiring) entitled
Dries Van Noten (pictured below).
